Signature Events

WISE Boston is committed to providing their members and supporters meaningful programming throughout the year. Our events are focused on networking, mentorship, and career development.

SPEED MENTORING ROUND TABLES

A WISE National Signature Event launched in January 2014 as part of our recognition and celebration of National Mentoring Month and Thank Your Mentor Day. This unique interactive event brings members up close and personal with industry veterans and peers to discuss career issues.

The event is structured so that attendees are pre-assigned to a small, peer group round table. Mentors rotate among round tables to allow each peer group to meet with multiple mentors.

POWER PLAY

This event is held each year during or near National Women’s History Month. Power Play is a program panel event featuring senior to executive level women from the same organization, or section of sports business, who represent different areas of discipline within the organization. This is the one event of the year where it is mandatory that all the panelists and moderator are women.

WISE Boston previously called this event "At the Top of Their Game" until WISE NYC Metro worked with National to roll the program out to all chapters.

WOMEN OF INSPIRATION

The Women of Inspiration awards event honors women who exemplify the spirit of the WISE mission. Women of Inspiration honorees are making a positive impact on the business of sports and events while serving as positive role models and mentors for other women.
