WISE Boston is pleased to announce the addition of four new members to its Board of Directors for 2013.
Danielle Pourbaix joins WISE Boston and the Chapter’s new Secretary. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, Danielle is currently the Centennial Programs Coordinator for he Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund. In addition to her role as Secretary, Danielle will also be heavily involved in event planning and logistics.
Kisha Tapangan of Liberty Mutual Insurance’s Corporate Communications department has come onboard as WISE Boston’s Marketing, Communications, and Membership Coordinator. Kisha holds degrees from Johnson & Wales University and The Texas Culinary Institute. Kisha will spearhead WISE Boston’s social media efforts, marketing plans, and membership communications.
Beth Grupsmith will serve as WISE Boston’s Media & Technology Coordinator. Beth is the Managing Director of the Sports Business Education Network (SBEN). Beth’s expertise has come in handy with the WISE Boston website launch, as well as with such projects as the live streaming of our many panels and speaker events.
Rounding out the new additions is Brittany Crawford, who will be taking over the role of Treasurer. Brittany is a Marketing Assistant at StarGames, a sports event management firm. With a background in sports and business, her role will encompass many areas in addition to keeping track of the Chapter's finances.
These new additions join Chapter President Jennette Barry, Vice-President Rachel Spates (who previously served as the Chapter’s Marketing, Communications, and Technology Coordinator), and Events & Sponsorship Coordinator Yelena Cvek.
